Story
From the 7th to 14th of March 2015, I will be participating in the 'ride to the top' from Sydney to Mount Kosciuszko over 650kms. This will be my 21st year, at 66 years young it is a great challenge for me but will also be so rewarding. Any donation, it doesn't matter how small will be appreciated. As I ride, I will be creating hope for those in my community of Sydney as all donations I raise go to HopeStreet. HopeStreet is a small yet effective organization operating in heart of Sydney’s homeless & marginalised population in Woolloomooloo. HopeStreet create relationships within this community to enable them to understand how best to help each individuals create permanent change. They walk the long road of transformation with each person which is why I am riding the long ride. Come on the journey with me and together we can bring hope to those in our very own backyard who need it most!

HopeStreet
HopeStreet Inner City is committed to providing compassionate care to marginalised inner-city residents in and around Woolloomooloo. Many community members are experiencing homelessness, dealing with addiction, mental health, physical health and legal issues, in addition to having diminished employment opportunities.
HopeStreet supports people of all ages; through our programs we empower people to confront complex issues and to explore pathways toward education, training and employment. HopeStreet directs help at the street level by building relationships with individuals in need, creating avenues of trust.
HopeStreet creates a space for real and lasting change in people who want to live their lives differently and we have developed core programs to support this work.
